This, my friends, is THE WOMAN

The kids & I had to run a few errands yesterday. We usually have to drive by my Grandma's house. Here, you will see, is my 87 year old grandma...mowing the lawn! She had been push mowing until a while back. The only thing I had was my camera phone & I tried to slow down as much as possible. My grandma ROCKS! She & I used to walk around the school field house. The first time we went, she said, "Now Shanny, I'm old, so I won't be able to walk as fast as you." She was lying. She took off & left me in the dust. Seriously, she's like a speed-walker.

One of the mornings I went to pick her up, we found that someone had broken into her garage the previous night. After the police were called & everything was taken care of, I said, "Grandma, are you sure you are going to be alright by yourself?" She said, "Well yes, I got my gun in the closet & I'll use it if I need to." Enough said!
