Olivia & Elijah

I know there are some people who read my blog that I don't know personally. If you don't know me, I delivered twins at 21 weeks back in 2005. Their names are Olivia & Elijah. They weighed a mere 7 to 8 oz. They were beautiful & had beating hearts when they came into this world. They will NEVER be forgotten...ever. They have been on my mind so much lately. I think of them every day, but lately the thoughts are pounded in to my brain.

The trio & I ran errands this morning. We went to the bank, dropped off recycling & went by the cemetery to pick up Olivia & Elijah's flowers. I brought the basket home so I can change the summer flowers to fall. I know my triplets don't know their brother & sister, but to pull up to their grave with my 3 living children was a moment I can't explain. It's very hard. They stayed in the van while I hopped out & got the basket. While driving off, I said to them, "that is where your brother & sister live." I know they don't understand, but someday they will.

I know I try to make my blog humorous..and I hope it is, but I want to say that I have been so blessed. I know having the trio is crazy at times, but what a joy it would be if I had all five! After they twins died, I had many questions for God. I still do. But I'm blessed to have these 3 beautiful, healthy, crazy kids!
