This is why

You don't have your nose pierced with 3 toddlers. I've had mine done a couple of years & I don't want to take it out. So, I guess I will have to endure the hits/smacks to my nose & the feel of the rod jammed into my nose cartilage. Oh, and I've had it pulled out several times as well. Trust me...it doesn't feel very special. I know, I know...I'm the one who has chosen to keep it. I just can't part with it.
