Isabel's favorite color is pink

But that doesn't mean she likes pink eyes. Ah, another week of fun here at our house. After finally getting Jonah back to school on Friday, I began feeling sick on Sunday. I had the sore throat that felt like someone was playing with razor blades inside my mouth. My nose started running & by Monday, I started getting a pleasant cough. But mama's do not get days off. Needless to say, my laundry is staying piled high & my house doesn't look the greatest. This morning, Isabel woke up with her eyes crusted shut. I took a warm rag to them & sent her to school. I did send her teacher a text that gave her a heads up. I told her Isabel hasn't been running a fever but that her eyes were crusty & a bit swollen this morning. She said, "Pink eye has been going through my class." G R E A T! She then sent me another message that said, "I'm pretty sure that is what it is, especially since it is in both her eyes." So about a half hour after sending them off, I went to pick her up. We went to the Walgreen's clinic. I completely forget about that thing being there. There wasn't a soul in there, so we got right in. And pink eye it is! We got a script for some eye drops & she told me to be prepared because it spreads easily. Oh joy.
