Our Day

Well, it's Monday, people. We started the day with poop-fest 2008! Yea, yea...who crapped the crib? It isn't fun anymore to bet because we all know who crapped it. Today it was Jasper (Shock, I know) & Jonah. And they must have done it thru the night because it was caked on to Jonah's hands....dried & all. Do you know how hard it is to get dry poop off? And the room...oh my lord, the room...smelled like a dairy farm. It was bad.

So before breakfast or anything, everyone got a bath...separately of course. I didn't want each of them to have to wash in the other's poop. See, I can be sweet at times :) After breakfast, I stripped the beds & washed down the cribs with some bleach water. I'm getting pretty darn good at putting sheets on.

I loaded them up in the van & we went to the bank & to Taco Bell. I took a few pics of them while in the drive-thru. Do we know how to live it up, or what? After I put them down for a nap, I crashed on the couch. I'm convinced that I would still be sleeping on that couch if I didn't have a husband & kids. I suppose I'll take those cute faces over sleeping any day.

Okay, I know my kids are pale, but the boys look like Marilyn Manson...minus the ugly face, red lips & black eyes. They definitely aren't this pale.

I woke up to Nate pulling in the driveway. He was home early from work. Good thing I told Hector, the Gardner, to leave in case Nate came home early! The Comcast guy came to install our new Internet, phone & TV service. It is going to be a little bit cheaper per month, so we changed. I had to get the kids out of here because they were in & out of the house & the trio were trying to escape.

I packed them in the Choo-choo & we went for a walk. I decided we had better make it a long walk, so I walked down to see my dad at work. He works about a mile away from us. He's a supervisor on 2nd shift & I knew he would be there. I called him up & told him we were coming. He grabbed the choo-choo & pulled the kids around the factory. And of course he told everyone they were his triplet grand kids. I, of course, had to take a picture. Dad was moving pretty fast, so the pic is kind of blurry.

On the walk back home, I decided to throw out my smokes & beer in the field. Geez people...stop littering!

We got home & played out back since the Comcast guy was still here. Iz threw a tantrum because after 20 minutes, I stopped pushing her on the swing & helped the boys. We came inside & cooled down. It was time to run to the store, fix dinner & put them down. Ahhhh..can you hear that? Silence...except for the dishwasher running. I do have to say, it was a beautiful day here.
