Fun In The Backyard

It was pretty hot yesterday & I decided to venture out back with the kids. Ok...so you are thinking, "That's not like it's a huge task." Well, when you have 3 toddlers who will run in opposite directions, it is. Not to mention that I just have a phobia about having all 3 outside by myself. I'm terrified they will get hit by a car. Our backyard isn't all the way fenced in. It's hard to explain unless you have seen it. We kind of share yards with people, so the kids are still able to run out.

My dad got us 3 pieces of play stuff & we have one from my sister's kids. We kind of have an obstacle thing set up. Everything turned out to be fine. They played well. There were only a few instances where I had to chase someone down. It got so hot that I decided to turn on the hose & let the kids play in it. It was fun to just let go & not care that they had their clothes on. They will never be this age again. They had a great time until I turned it off because I thought maybe they were getting too cold...judging by JC's constant teeth chattering, goose bumps & trembling. Of course, they were not happy babies after that. So, we ventured back inside.

JB Profile

JB doesn't do things how they are ordinarily done. For instance, he goes up the stairs to the slide but slides back down the stairs instead of the slide.

JC is fascinated by rocks & likes to throw & eat them. I'm constantly saying, "No."

This is after we came back in. I stripped them out of their wet clothes. JB loves wearing mama's flip-flops.

While I was walking to the other room, I noticed my pant leg felt heavy. Upon investigating, I noticed 3 rocks in it. Huh? How did that happen & I not even notice?
