The end of preschool

I realize that I've been slacking on my blog lately...big time. In the next few weeks though I'm sure it will pick back up because my kids will be in FULL DAY KINDERGARTEN! Oh my sweet Jesus. It can't be. It just can't. Those are my babies. My stomach gets the poop knots just thinking about it. Everyone says, "Oh, you'll love it after the first few days." I'm sure I will get quite use to it, but for now, I feel like crying.

So this post is about the end of their preschool life. We said goodbye to our amazing bus driver, Kristi. The aide on the bus was just as wonderful...Ms. Di. This was the 2nd year that Kristi drove the kids to school and brought them home. They were 3 years old when they started preschool. I took them and picked them everyday for the first few months. And then their teacher asked if they could ride the bus because that was all they were talking about. She said, "Just let them try it, Shannon. They will be fine. They really want to ride it." So I gave in and let my 3 little kids ride that big ol' full size bus. And they loved it and wanted to ride it everyday! I knew with Ms. Kristi driving and the aides keeping an eye on them, I would be okay.

Bus 31...I wonder if they will remember that when they get older. Every morning we would stand outside and when they say the bus turn on to our road they would say, "There's bus 31!"

This is the kids with Ms. Teresa. She was an aide in Izzy's class. The first year of preschool they were all in the same class and she was an aide to all of them. I actually meet her daughter when we were in business college together...some 17 years ago.

The last day of school took place at the park.
