Leo is his name

A few weeks ago I became a foster parent to a monkey named, Leo. Leo came from my online friend, Deb. Deb lives in North Carolina and has a great blog that I frequent daily...www.mccormickmadness.com.

I "met" Deb online roughly about 5 years ago. She and I became great friends over the Internet. We have one huge thing in common. She has 5 year old triplets as well...2 boys and 1 girl. Luke, Wade and Zoe are absolutely adorable and they always seem to be going through the same phase/quirks, what have you, the same time as my three. Deb's kiddos don't stop there. She actually has 2 grown children (a son and daughter) AND a another baby, Olivia, who isn't much younger than the trips. Talk about Superwoman!

So Deb decided to have foster parents to Leo. Anyone who followed her blog and wanted to be in on the adventure was welcome to it! Leo started in North Carolina with Deb and then went to Canada. I received him from Canada and will now send him on to his next destination. It's a pretty cool idea if you ask me.

The following pictures are of Leo, here in good ol' Indiana. Let me tell you, there isn't much, at all, in my town. But, Leo went about us with our daily routines.

The first night he arrived, we had a lovely dinner of cereal ;)

He did get to experience the kiddos turning 5! Here he is with Jonah on his new bike he got for his birthday.
Helping Nate out with the tires

And I hate to break the news to you this way, Deb. But, Leo got married while he was here. This is him kissing his new bride, Baby. Isabel informed me they were married then.

Most of our summer afternoons have been spent swimming at my dad and step-mom's house.

Here he is with my nephew, Nick.

Several of our mornings are spent in my brother's donut shop...Jack's Donuts. I think Leo liked all of the donuts, much like myself. Here he is hanging out while my dad prepares dough.

Here he is with the kiddos enjoying their donuts and milk.

I took Leo with me when I took my brother and his family's photos. I will say, the Arts Park is a beautiful place.

We will miss Mr. Leo, but I know it is time for him to move on to a different part of the country and to meet other people. Thanks for letting me take part in this project, Deb!

Visiting from Deb's blog. I just started following her blog a few months ago, but I don't have nearly as much in common with her as you! Prime example - no children here!

I love the pictures you took with Leo, especially on the flamingo. So fun! I signed up to host Leo, so hopefully he'll come my way soon.

This was so cute! First, I love Leo's skin color. Just beautiful! Second, Jack's Donuts looks like a cool place. Love the chalkboard. Third, Leo on the back of the flamingo made me laugh out loud. And, FOURTH, so glad Debbie pointed me your way. I'm following you now! :)
