Hot summer days

We've had a super hot summer. What better way to spend the days & evenings than in my dad & step-mom's pool! You'd think I would have a nice dark tan going on. But nope! Most of the time I am tending to the three. "Mama! Watch this! Watch this!" "Mama, I have to pee." "Mama, can I have some juice?" "Mama, are you gonna make lunch?" But you know what? We still have a good time & the kids always have a blast. I just need to make a day for myself & to go lay in that pool for 8 hours straight.

My sis & her family are often times there with us. It certainly isn't dull. 90% of the time, we are being eaten by horsefly's or trying to kill horsefly's. Those things are vicious beasts I tell you. I can't even tell you how many bites I have. Dad says they keep them caged up & when we all come over, they let them loose. He's hoping we get the hint & not come back :)
