Phoenix Photos

My second annual Phoenix trip was in June. I had a great time! But, I knew that would happen :) And of course I worried & worried before I took the trip. The thoughts that were going thru my mind were, "Am I a bad mama for leaving my kids for four nights?" " Will every one talk about me & how they can't believe I would leave my kids?" I am trying to learn that it doesn't matter what everyone else thinks. I've been a stay at home mama...to triplets...for 4 years. I think a break every now and then is pretty okay. Can I get an "AMEN"?? Nate took the week off & stayed home to watch the kids. And he survived! Thanks, Nate!:)


Of course I cried a little, but I got on that plane & I knew I was ready for some fun, sun & relaxation. And that is exactly how it was. Well, besides getting sick the day before I left. That was a bit of a let down. But I was thankful it wasn't the day I left, because I don't think I could have made that plane ride home.


My dad, his girl, Rhonda & I all went. We stayed with my favorite aunt Candi & uncle Gary. They are the best hosts! We don't have to worry about a single thing. And they are hilarious too! I got to spend time with my cousins & their kiddos. Blake is the newest baby. He was born just a few weeks before we went on our trip last year. He's grown so much in a year & by all the pics that I have of him, I think you can tell I was pretty smitten with this babe. Of course, the other boys are cute as ever! I didn't get any pics of my cousin's (Amy) son, Ben. Poor guy was sick & in the house the day they came over.
