Forgive Me Lord

It's 10:30 am & we've already had a busy Saturday. This morning, Nate took the boys to a "Mens" pancake breakfast at the church. It was at 8 am. Fortunately (but really, unfortunately) Jonah is always up by 7 & Nate & the boys got ready & headed out. I decided to take Iz to breakfast. Just she & I. We went to a local pancake place which has an awesome breakfast.

She & I sat on the same side of the booth & both got pancakes. She scooped up the mounds of butter & ate them with her hands. I mean, I'm a big gal, but scooping up mounds of butter with my hands & eating it actually kind of grossed me out. But, she loved it, so who was I to stop it :)

Then there was this man that she wouldn't stop staring at. Its super blurry because I had my camera phone & had to zoom in on him. She said, "Look at him! Look at him! He's got a mustache." I said, "Yes, he does." She said, "You smell his mustache (while she was sniffing)?" I said, "No." Then she would just giggle while she watched him eat. And then she would mock him. I think she was pretty fond of him but at one point I had to tell her to stop staring.

We then went to the church because the band & choir had practice at 9 am. If I haven't mentioned it, Nate is playing the guitar in the church band & I am....ummm, singing in the choir. I'm still not convinced I can sing.
Anyway, I got in the church & Nate was already upstairs practicing. The boys were downstairs & I told them to come up with me. I would let them play in the church by themselves (its relatively small) but with Jonah's opening & closing doors fetish, I just know that one would get loose & be on the run in no time. Jasper didn't want to go up. He threw a fit...screamed, cried, tried to run off, etc. There were still some men lingering, so I had to compose myself. I freaked for a minute but then regained composure.
We went upstairs & I told them to sit on the seats. I went up to sing & Jasper was crying. I pulled him up there & held him while I sang. He didn't want that. He wanted the mic. Then Isabel wanted up there. They fought, cried, whined & I snatched them all up & came home. I had to bite my tongue because the words that wanted to come out were probably not the most appropriate for the Lord's house.
I think we all need to go back to bed for 20 hours.
