I am convinced

That my kids get sick more than any other kids. This week has been Hell with Jonah. He has a cough that wont go away. And I am totally serious when I say it is constant. We don't sleep at night. I know the other kids don't sleep. I got the call from school on Monday to come pick him up. I took him to the doctor on Tuesday. Both of his ears were red so they put him on antibiotic. I guess the coughing has to do with mucus being stuck in his throat. There has to be a hell of a lot of mucus. This is what the doctor said..."Is it always a barking cough?" Barking! That sort of tells you what it sounds like. I may have to start putting him outside at night to bark with the other dogs. I'm kidding!

Half the time, it sounds like he is making himself cough. He gags, throws up & then the others start in. They all have a bit of a runny nose & the other two are starting to cough...nothing like Jonah, though. So, I've sent them to school this week & Jonah has stayed with me. This means that Jonah has been to school ONE day in the past 3 weeks. First the snow & now being sick. The teachers have tried to convince me that their kids were all sick their first year of school. Does anyone home school? :)
