"Jonah threw the clothes on the floor"

I was thinking he threw some clothes out from the hamper. Not so. Not thinking, I left the lid off of summer clothes that will hopefully be put in drawers soon. The bright side? As I was re-folding them, I got to look at items purchased last year for this summer that I had forgotten about.

It was in the 40's!!

So, you're jealous, aren't you? Ha! When it gets in to the 40's, people around these parts get crazy. It's like we think it is in the 80's. Although, I am sane (most of the time) & still dress my kids appropriately. Get this...I was driving down a road on Saturday afternoon and it was right at 40 degrees. There was a dad playing football with his little boy (who looked to be around 5) in the street. This little boy had on PJ pants, NO shirt & NO shoes or socks. Now, that is crazy.

The kids & I decided to take advantage of this *hot* weather & play outside. We broke out the big wheels!

There is still a little of that white stuff laying around! It's not white anymore though...more like a mud black/brown.

Kisen Lee is One!!

On February 25, my nephew Kisen turned one. Here are a few pics from his party. He wasn't digging the cake, but the rest of us were! :)

I am convinced

That my kids get sick more than any other kids. This week has been Hell with Jonah. He has a cough that wont go away. And I am totally serious when I say it is constant. We don't sleep at night. I know the other kids don't sleep. I got the call from school on Monday to come pick him up. I took him to the doctor on Tuesday. Both of his ears were red so they put him on antibiotic. I guess the coughing has to do with mucus being stuck in his throat. There has to be a hell of a lot of mucus. This is what the doctor said..."Is it always a barking cough?" Barking! That sort of tells you what it sounds like. I may have to start putting him outside at night to bark with the other dogs. I'm kidding!

Half the time, it sounds like he is making himself cough. He gags, throws up & then the others start in. They all have a bit of a runny nose & the other two are starting to cough...nothing like Jonah, though. So, I've sent them to school this week & Jonah has stayed with me. This means that Jonah has been to school ONE day in the past 3 weeks. First the snow & now being sick. The teachers have tried to convince me that their kids were all sick their first year of school. Does anyone home school? :)

I find it odd

That there are a ton of foot tracks in my back yard when none of us have been back there since it snowed. Hmmm? They go every which way. I don't know if people are spying on us or if people are just partying back there.

Crazy for Chocolate

The kids went to school today...the first time in almost 2 weeks. Since there hasn't been school, they didn't have their Valentine party. Today, though, they came home with some chocolate & Valentine's from the teacher's. Jonah doesn't eat Chocolate. He isn't much of a sweets eater. But Isabel & Jasper, oh my, they were eating it like it was crack.

So much so, that Jasper peed his pants. He was dancing around & he said, "Mama, I have to go pee." I said, "Ok...go pee." A minute later he says, "Mama, I peed." I say, "Ok." He says, "On the floor." I run in to the bathroom & there he stood, right in front of the toilet, with his pants on & just peed. It was running in to puddles on the floor & got on his snow boots. But you can rest assured he had that candy bar in his hand.
