"2 Hour Delay" is a very bad word...

As you know, the kids are in pre-school. They go everyday from 8-10:30 am. The bus picks them up now & brings them home. For me, this is a much needed break. Sooooo...when I hear 2 hour delay, things change. This means they don't go to school since they are in the morning class. I have 2 boys who are usually awake around 6:45 am & a little girl who could sleep in later. Suddenly, my morning of taking it easy, having a nice shower, maybe putting some folded clothes away (that have been waiting for 2 weeks to be put away), is GONE.

The fact that we live in a crappy State, doesn't make things better. Once all of the 8" of snow has melted, we get freezing rain. I don't remember the last time I saw the sun. And I need that sun! Who doesn't need a little sun to perk them up?

Here's a picture of my backyard. Beautiful, isn't it!? Ugh. In the words of a Barney song..."Oh Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun...please shine down on me."

Oh, and the kids have had runny noses. Jasper freaks when his runs. He usually lets out a high pitched yelp & then tosses his Kleenex over the gate.

Oh, that is bad. We are having the same crappy, dreary weather that you are, complete with the ice storm last night. I hope you are surviving your day. Hang in there...in a few years a "2 hour delay" will be a good thing, I promise!!

LOL, I just saw your title on the side, "I'm watching you." Made me laugh out loud.

I hear you on the crappy weather. It was so windy out that the girls REFUSED to go outside. Thankfully they had school so I had a little bit of relief.
