Accents

Do you have an accent? I guess I have somewhat of a Southern accent...so I've been told. Today, I've been on the phone with Xerox because I had to order ink for our church. It's crazy, no one seems to understand me & I can't understand them. They aren't foreign but some of them have some thick accents & I must have one to them. I had to repeat myself twice to a lady & then I couldn't understand what she said. She said the word, "Toner" but it sounded like, "Tawner." Do you ever wonder what you sound like to someone else from a different state?
