It has been a little hectic

I don't know if God is trying to tell me something, or what? Like, my babies aren't babies anymore? Potty training, school tomorrow & now, no gate!

During a fun-filled morning of constant potty time (they want to go in every toilet we have here, but haven't been peeing), I managed to break the gate. I mean, break it. Picture this. I was talking to Joanna on the phone. I had taken Isabel to the bathroom & was getting ready to put her over the gate to get another kid. She wouldn't let go. I hoisted her over & in the process, she pulled me down with her. I fell completely on top of the gate. I mean, it was like a skit out of Saturday Night Live. She was on her back, the gate was on top of her & I was on top of the gate on my belly. Needless to say, the phone dropped as well. Iz didn't even act like it phased her. That is really not like her at all. I was laughing & picked up the phone & said, "Joanna?" She said, "What happened?"

So now I have been chasing 3 toddlers, in underwear, around the house. My belly is sore from busting a wooden gate & my knee has a bruise. Good times!

Day #3 of potty training

We are on day three. It is going, eh? Everyone is still have accidents in their undies, but Jasper is doing relatively well. Isabel has good times & bad times & Jonah has gone ZERO times in the potty. Jasper has went on his own. We have a little potty in the hallway, and he will go in that every once in a while. But, he stands. And pee goes everywhere but in the pot. I can't get mad though. At least he is trying.

Here's the lid of one of the potty chairs after Jasper was done.
PJ top, undies & cool shoes
Isabel dancing in front of the mirror in the boys' undies because I need to buy more for her. Look at the fingerprints on that mirror! No, don't!

Similar?

I knew this picture looked familiar
Remember this photo shoot with Brad & Angelina? This was when they were filming the infamous, Mr & Mrs. Smith. I tried to see if Brad would be willing to pose in my picture, but sadly, he was unavailable.

Urine For A Treat

You Get It?
We decided to start potty training today. Well, Nate decided. I woke up & the kids were in undies. He told me we were going to start this weekend. We stayed home all day & the kids stayed in their undies all day...minus nap time & of course bed time. Isabel & Jasper both peed in the potty. I honestly don't think Jonah gives a crap if he has pee running down his leg or not. He's just so laid back & it doesn't bother him. I have a feeling he will be a bit of a challenge in the training department.

Each of them had their fair share of wet pants. Jasper tries to stand up & pee in his potty chair. He totally misses except for maybe a few dribbles. But at least he's trying. I hope my house smells like "Spot Shot" cleaner & not, Pee. We kept a plastic sack & threw all the pee covered things in it. It is now in the washer.

Now This Is A Teeter Totter

I took this a couple of weeks ago. It was mine & Ashley's kids along with 2 kids we didn't know. But, they all seemed to like. it.

Playing at Aunt Lisa's

...Pictures from Nate's aunt's house last weekend

"Can I check your engine for ya?"
Jasper with a John Deere...what else?

Wowsa!

Lisa had a crinoline that was Nate's mamaw's. I'm sure it was every bit of 50 years old. She looked so beautiful in it.

"Hannah? Could you not choke me?"

Hannah & Gage (aunt Rachel's "man-friend's" son)...he is such a sweetheart!

Have you ever had a deep fried twinkie?

They are amazing!

Tonight; Andy, Joanna, Carter & me & my kiddos went to the fair. We had a blast. And guess what? I forgot my camera! What is going on with me?! The first zoo trip, the first fair & I forget!

Do you want to know what I ate? A big ol' tenderloin (a thin one, not a fat one...I'm weird when it comes to meat/pork/chicken, etc.), a big basket of fries & a deep fried Twinkie! And it had butterscotch drizzled on top of it.

The kids loved it! They even rode rides. It totally surprised me, especially with Isabel. They played the usual carnival games & won those small stuffed toys that you don't have any need for. But, the kids think it is awesome and that makes it A-Okay. They loved hanging out with cousin Andy. We are always with Jo-Jo & Carter, but Andy is usually working.

Andy was so good & took the kids on a ride while he let Joanna & I ride the scrambler. That thing is so much fun. We were the only adults. We laughed so hard & Joanna screamed, "Oh my lord! I just peed a little." Not long after that, I did too! The two oldies on the scrambler who can't control their bladders. I had a small Sponge bob stuffed toy in my hand. I was holding his little hand while he flew around on the scrambler. When we got done, the carni said, "Looks like ol' Sponge bob had a good time."

We had so much fun, we bought more tickets so we could ride again. This time, the kids & Andy watched. Jasper screamed & cried his little heart out. He was scared for me. My poor baby. When we got done, I picked him up & he just cried. He said, "Mama, Stop!" I hope he doesn't have nightmares about me & the scrambler.

It was a great night & the kids behaved so well & we all held hands. I can't wait to take them back!
