Ja Ja Ja Ja Jonah

My sweet boy, Jonah, loves to line things up. He decided he wanted the baby triplets to take a nap. So, he neatly lined them up on the arm of the couch. It was soooo cute.

Speaking of parents

My mom was over yesterday to get her hair done. I think she is the next Barbara Walters! She retired last May (I think?) but hasn't stopped since then. She is now a professor for public speaking at a local college AND writes for our local hospital. This woman could seriously be a famous journalist. I told her that last night. Oh, and she's a political and environmental activist & is always participating in events.

Geez, I thought you were supposed to slow down after you retired!

The name says it all

I took my dad's car yesterday to an appointment. He came & watched the kids. The image above is what was laying on the floor. Oh yea, that's my dad! For those who don't know, this is a tanning lotion used in tanning beds. Isn't the name hilarious!? Let me share with you a few of my dad's famous quotes:

Go Away, Already

Well, after about the 10 inches that was dropped on us a few days ago, we probably got another 5 or 6 yesterday. I had no idea it was even going to snow again. Then again, I don't watch the news. My brother, Lee, always says, "Geez...do you EVER watch TV?" Yes I do, but it is just shows I like at night and the news isn't included in that.

Last night I went out to shovel after Nate got home. I needed to get out of the house and I didn't care if it was to shovel. I went to our back garage to try & get the snow blower started. Nate had tried a few days earlier & it wouldn't work. I thought maybe I would have the luck. No such luck. Didn't start. But on the way back down our long driveway, I did fall on my butt...Big Time!! I laughed & then got up to see if anyone saw me. I didn't see anyone. So my butt is sore today, but my driveway is semi-clean. Snow Snow Go Away!

It isn't easy

But I love having triplets. Really, I do. Sure, there are days when I want to scratch my own eyes out & lay in the bed 24/7, but that's normal.....Right??

So there I sat today, on the couch, giving Jonah a breathing treatment. He was on my lap & Isabel was right next to me putting flowers in my hair. Yes, we sometimes wear flowers in our hair. And Jasper was doing magic tricks with his flower. It just made me smile. It was a bit chaotic, but in a good way. I had the noise from the TV, the breathing machine, Isabel saying "Flower, flower, flower" while climbing on me and Jasper saying, "Where'd flower go?"

I hope I remember these sweet times.

Always Fun At Ashley's & Aaron's

The kids & I went to Ashley's house for the Super Bowl. The Colts weren't in it, so who cares :) Ash has some close friends that she keeps in touch with (but doesn't get to see often) from school. Wil (AKA: Heather) & her husband James & their kids Zoe & Sam were there. Haddin (AKA: Jennifer) & her husband Roy & their daughter Landrey were there.

I remember some good times with these girls. I was often excluded because I'm the younger sister...the one who told on them & screamed at them when I would try to sleep at night & they would be having a slumber party! They have video to prove it. Wil told me that I can now officially join them. Woohoo! But wait, that makes me old, doesn't it? CRAP!

It was really fun to see them again & see what cute kiddos they have! So, here are some pictures.
